  I was not impressed with the service from Sears. Firstly, the technician refused to diagnose the problem with my Kenmore dryer as he could not locate its serial number and said he would not charge me the $74 for the call. He then proceeded to diagnose the problem. There had been a lightning strike which had taken out one phase of the 240 volt supply. However, he did not find that the two safety switches had also failed. That I found out from a subsequent service call from a local repair company. For the privilege, the technician charged me $94. Would not recommend using Sears, but use a locally recommended technician.

  Renewed Protection Agreement for another 3 years - all my appliances checked and working fine. Excellent service by great techs. Thank you. I am not able to download Protect Agreement - I NEED PAPER COPY - PLEASE SEND AS SOON AS POSSIBLE - I give Sears 5 stars.
