  Lots of great restaurants and stores. Fun hang out place. Very rundown look but very functional. Tons of homeless on the boardwalk but they don’t seem to bother anyone at all. Even had a performing magician who was really good & entertaining.

  Daytona Beach is one of the most beautiful beaches I have experienced. The sand is nice and packed so it's easier to walk on. The pier area/boardwalk is fun, if a little overpriced, except for the homeless/addict problem. It's easy to avoid but it's there. The beach around the pier is my favorite area and great to people watch. Nice that there are so many places to grab a drink or some food. Just watch your belongings and don't talk to the crazies ;)
